Crisis 3 Crashing

Hi guys,

I've built a decent Pc awhile back that enables me to play most AAA titles at high settings and decent frame rates. My major problem however, is that whenever I try to play Crisis 3, the game crashes and restarts my Pc. Does anyone have any solution for this problem? :confused:

My Pc:

i7 4790k
Gtx 970 G1 Gaming
Gigayte z97x-ud5h-bk
1tb hdd + 512 ssd
16gb corsair RAM
h100i cooling
windows 8.1 pro (now 10)

Vague question, is vague.

What does it do when it crashes?
Is anything overclocked?
All other games are stable?

It just automatically restarts my pc. This only happens with Crysis 3. I have crysis 2, battllefield 4, Bioshock infinite, tomb raider and so many other games that I play on ultra and high settings. My pc is also at default, nothing's overclocked.

Did it work on Win 8.1 , but the problem happens now you are on Win 10 ?
( going by your details above )

Could try running it in win 7 or 8 compatability mode ( Right click icon>Compatability Tab ) to test

Had the same issue on 8.1. And now I only got windows 10.

Right click your start button and check the event viewer to see if you can find anything related to the crashing.

downlaod msi afterburner reduce your core clock & memory clock about 40mhz , I had the same problem with ArcheAge which uses the CryEngine ;/ . Spent £100 on a new PSU thinking that that was the cause lol
