Crisis!?

i am 99% sure thats the right cable. however, you can find out very easily by trying to plug it in. if it fits then its the right cable (no power cable can fit in the wrong place because each prong is shaped)

ok well, i have 2 lots of 2 pin connectors with 2 extra connectors for the GPU. then there is 1 8 pin connector 2 single 4 pins that connect together to make 8. I've tried everything, i know that ATX 8 pin connect gives the CPU power so its obviously important... but is it possible that the 24 pin ATX connector will give it enough juice!?

Hi there,

The ATX/EPS 4/8 pin 12V connection is a standard connection and the motherboard and PSU both use the same type. What you may need to do is connect the two haves of the 4+4 pin PSU connector to create 8pin connection that will fit into the motherboard.

Also, make sure you insert in the correct orientation, so that the holding latch of the connector interfaces with the tab on the side of the motherboard power connection.

The 6+2 PCIE power connections will not work in the motherboard 8pin 12V connection.

but is it possible that the 24 pin ATX connector will give it enough juice!?

No, if you try this the PC just won't turn on.

Use either the two 4pin together or the eps

Ok, i was just being super impatient! I've sorted it.

But that's what not receiving everything you ordered will do to you!

Thanks guys!

You plug it to one of the USB 3 headers at the bottom of the motherboard. It will be larger than the USB 2 headers. You then mount the brack into one of your bays with screws.
