Anyone else watched this? I actually enjoyed the first episode!

Its a story about a school for of the wealthy and powerful. So the children of big corporation owners, diplomats and the presidents son. They are going on a field trip when they are kidnapped. Its a story of how the most powerful people in america react to this and the secret service agents that were protecting the presidents son.

The Wikipedia pilot description.

During a school trip, students of the Ballard High School, attended by the children of Washington, D.C.'s elite, including the President's son, are the victim of an ambush. A national crisis begins and Secret Service agent Marcus Finley finds himself at the center of it on his first day on the job. FBI agent Susie Dunn also discovers her niece, the daughter of CEO Meg Fitch, is among the kidnapped children.

So this has been canceled now!

Okay, so, watched the first episode, and to be honest, I am very much thinking that it is just a watered down version of the following.

If you're a fan then watch just the first 15 minutes of Straightheads (aka Closure)... trust me ;)

If you watch past that 15 minutes then any enjoyment you got from lovely Scully will be completely obliterated. It's a good film though.

Haven't gotten round to watching this yet - am I right in thinking there are no nano-suits? :D

Gillian Anderson is a very sexy lady. I wouldn't class her as beautiful, but there is something about her.

So... basically.. from this thread, it is possible to hypothesise, that the only thing worth watching about this show, is the fact that Gillian Anderson is in it.

It's shows like this that remind me why the likes of The Wire, Oz, The Sopranos, BB etc are so good. It really isn't that great but I keep watching it.

It's been pulled from the schedules - next step is official cancellation

I only just found out about this. I think that is quite common. I only found out about lost after 8 or 10 episodes was already aired. Going to give it a watch shame its already cancelled. it was cancelled before i even saw it, they don't even give series a chance any more.

I am really getting tired of their 'we'll leave two run of the mill FBI agents outside of each parent's house' routine! Every week this pointless system is circumvented easily. There are so many things wrong with this show (are they using a model for the camera shot of the mansion - it looks terrible) but I have to conclude it :o.

I stopped watching this after 4 or 5 episodes. I only really started because of Gillian Anderson as i usually like shows she's in but the whole thing just seemed so daft and the feds so idiotic, almost but not quite as stupid as in season 1 of The Following.
