Hi there guys, haven't posted in a while. I have just finished creating my news website. Thought I'd share it on here to see what you think?

http://www.randomninteresting.com

Im looking for authors if anyone is interesting contact me from the contact us page in the menu!

Took me a good few months so criticism is what im after!

Kind Regards, Dan

what audience are you targeting? seems quite a mix of stuff which will struggle to attract folks over more established sites

The front page list of news stories looks like an RSS feed / some spam website. I would tighten it up a bit; change the font add no. of comments etc.

Thanks for the feedback, I agree with most comments, the vine has been taken off and the fonts changed. What isnt mobile optimised for you? I have a HTC one and it comes up great? If you could explain that would be great!

I have just recruiting an editor, who is going to iron out all the typo's by authors etc. So that should be fixed soon

What about the slider on the front page looks like an RSS feed? What would you suggest doing to make it look better?

Thank you very much for the comments

Hey sorry about the vagueness. I've just tried it on my htc one and its fine. iPhone 5 opens as this;

Edit: will have to link the pic when at desktop sorry its huge.

Tried standard reload/restart phone but to no avail. Might just be me.

good lord, I'm guessing enlgish isn't your authors first language?

Apparently some of the roof or internal ceiling and part of some of the balcony has collapsed

part of some of the balcony? well thank god it wasn't part of all of the balcony

The Creator of this wonderful site. I always wanted to be able to say, yep your looking at that article on a website I created. Hopefully that dream will come true. I like to write movies, tech and fail articles, Short and to the point.

Bolded mistakes.

The Apollo Theatre in London has collapsed mod performance just hours ago.

This highlights two general points.

Firstly, presumably you mean "mid" performance - you need to do some serious proof-reading throughout.

Secondly, the theatre did not collapse - a small amount of the ceiling did. If you are going to run an independent news website it would be helpful if it was accurate rather than salacious.

Salacious is the name of the game, though!

You really need to just sense check and spell check everything, man. Looks very unprofessional.

Other than that, I think the website looks a bit like a dodgy Russian news feed, but I actually really like it, and the website looks nice.
