Critique this spec

Hey guys, was thinking of building this, anyone got any suggestions? Was thinking of putting 4gb ram in, but with ddr3 going mainstream I figure I might invest in new ram later on.

Also was wondering if its worth waiting a bit for x38 mobos. Anyone got the latest on the Nvidia offerings? Read so much conflicting info, some say theres a new performance card coming Nov, others say its the budget card and the performance one will be out Jan...

It all will work, that is the good news. However the motherboard seems very expensive for a P35 motherboard.

You could probably overclock an 8800GTX to similar speeds to the ultra and save quite a bit of cash.

Finally the Ram is rather expensive, PC6400 would easily do you.

yeah, gtx would be a better way to spend the money, and the ballistix 8500.. even to run at stock 1:1 you would need to clock the quad to 533fsb.. not very likely with a quad..

pc6400 would be ideal, evern pc5300, as it clocks REALLY well.

Not really sure about the motherboard, it does seem rather expensive for a p35 based board..

That motherboard is meant to be as good as the P5K Deluxe aswell just extra stuff with it make it cost more.

Though u dont need watercooling because the NB heatsink can work without it.
