Hi guys

i have just brought a XFX ATI Radeon HD 5870 well inpressed . i was thinking of going to crossfire do i need to buy another 5870 or will any of the other ATI cards be ok . if i need to get another 5870 iam thinking this Powercolor ATI Radeon HD 5870 .

cheers for the help

You'd be better off with another 5870. Make sure the XFX and Powercolor have the same amount of RAM (not essential, but if you want the best from the system, they should have the same amount).
Using a different card would work (within a certain range), but coupling your current card with a lesser card can cause bottlenecks which would defeat the purpose of getting your wonderful 5870 in the first place :D

Any reason you want to crossfire the 5870s other than for the lulz? Just one's a beast of a card :p..

card looks a bit lost in case .lol
