cross fire or not to crossfire?

hi guys

dont know what 2 do :confused:

could get 1x x1800 xt 512mb,or 2xX800 GTO 256mb.

what do u guys think?at the mo i am on agp x800 pro 256mb,but gonna be updating my rig soon :)
just dont know which road 2 take :confused:

Do not go Crossfire on the x800 range, it is worthless, can't go higher than 1600x1200, and is stuck at 60hz, so it is totally pointless as there is no benefit.

my big upgrade will be in about 2 months hopefully :rolleyes:
so i hope prices for the x1900 come down a little bit by then,i have about £300 for a graph card :)
 
so guys think i will see a big diff from the rig i have now to what i want 2 get?

getting amd64 3700+ soc 939
dunno what mobo?maybe a lanparty one.


btw i have 2 gig in my rig now with a sata 80 gig hd :)
