Hi all, still have not got my Crossfire to work.. it seems now my PC won't even boot. When I get home I'll take outt he card and hope that is just the reason...RAAAA

The mobo is -
Gigabyte GA-MA790x-UD3P AMD 790x PCI express ddr2

Before the system stoped booting, I had both cards running at same clock speed,

Tried both cards by them self works fine.......

Any help please guys, I really would be greatful!

Did you install the crossfire bridge?

Edit: Just read your last post, looks like you have the bridge installed. Now, as sjcf1 says, what is the PSU?

Edit2: Just went back to even earlier posts and the PSU is the Corsair TX 650W, right? What power connectors do your 4890s have and what is currently connecting them to the PSU?

I was told the PSu should be enough, others have used it.

I use a 4 pin to 6 pin conector, 2 of them on the secondry card.

1 6 pin and 1 8 pin on the primary main one.

Thanks for your posts and help btw,

make sure the 4 pin adapers are

1 as near the psu as possible and tightly connnected

2 on a different cable to each other

you get some loss of voltage and power delivery at the ends of the cabling and some adapters are pretty badly made losing a bit more
