Cross hosted domain aliases

I own two domain names and I want them to point to the same website. The problem is that they are hosted by two different companies I currently have all my website information on one server and would prefer not to have to replicate it. This is a temporary issue as I will be merging them but need to have this temporary fix.

Any ideas?

What I attempted to do was to just put a DNS entry of one of the domains as the other - the problem with this is that the IP seems to hold more than one website and if you just go to the IP (as altering DNS entries will do) it just brings up errors grrr

Can anyone tell me a quick and easy way to put a page that will auto-redirect people to the other website then?

rewriting the url with mod_rewite is a neat way of doing it.
