Cross Polarisation

The set up i used here was quite primitve so i couldnt get any better shots.
Yuo acheive this by using two polarisors.
I used a Cokin P Linear polarisor on the lgiht source ( a very small Desklamp) Which was under a glass table.
I then used a cir Pol on the lens.
If you turn the cir pol you will get different effects and the bg changes form black to white. I had to always have it on the black BG because otherwise you would see the desklamp and it would look distracting.

Yep thats how you do it. It was in one of the popular photo mags a few months ago.
