Crossfire 2 qustion

if im running a x1950pro 256, and add a 512version and make sure thats in slot 1, will it use 512ram or 256?

cool i thought they could only use one cards memory, or is that just crossfire 1?

Afraid thats wrong, when 2x cards are Crossfired or SLI'd, you lose 1x of your cards memory, when 2x are paired, but 1x card has less memory than the other, then it defaults to the lowest amount, so he will get 256mb, or i may be wrong there and he may get the memory from whatever card he has in the primary slot, i can't remember, but i know you definately lose 1x cards memory either way.

Both cards have to store the same data so he will have 256MB
