So i will soon be the proud owner of cf 290s. Im a very happy man. My whole rig should be shipped soon, but i have a question... As ive never had sli or crossfire, does it matter which pci slots the cards are installed?
To begin with im on air until i get them under water near xmas. In the meantime im thinking get as much gap between them as possible. My mobo will be: gigabyte z97x-soc and im thinking can i place one in the first pci and the 2nd in the last pci?
Also, when installing them, is it better to install one, get the drivers installed, then do the second, or can you do both in one go? Sorry, i feel i should know but i think i need to check!
