crossfire 4850 vs 4890

Surely witht the price of the 4890, if your thinking of getting another 4850 to go crossfire, isnt it worth it selling your existing 4850 and getting a 4890?

apperently there are some palit 4850s with ddr 5 memory that are cheap and would be good

i'm just wondering whether the 4890 performs the same-ish as a crossfire 4850.. since surely if this was true one 4890 would be far more useful than crossfire..
