Crossfire 4x and 16x

Im tempted to buy a second card for crossfire because it is cheaper than buying a new card, but the problem is my motherboard states that it has

One PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots with Hybrid CrossFire support
One PCI-Express 2.0 x4 slot (x16 physical)

how much of a difference will this make to running crossfire?

im no expert on crossfire but i dont think its worth it if your not running x8 by x8 or x16 by x16? get a new gfx instead of crossfire sell your 5750 or dont cos its good for now maybe a gtx 460 6850 or 5870 5850

x16/x4 crossfire has roughly 30/40% less performance than x16/x16 if I recall correctly. Either way, it's something you'd want to avoid with that board

i am doing this on my system, havent doen any benchies in a while, will try dig my results out.....they were not bad tho!

It varys from game to game. Some game it would barely lose any performance comparing to x16/x16, but on average crossfire at x4/x4 would lose about 8-9% per card, and in the worst case it can lose up to 40-50% on each card.
