Crossfire 5770, Not impressed , Am I wrong.

I have just installed 2 x 5770 cards. I had only 1 before. Windows 7 64 bit, Q9550 CPU, 6GB Corsair DDR2 Ram, Asus P5Q Delux Mobo.

I was expecting superb performance but so far I am only getting 32fps on Dirt 2 with the hotfix on 1900x1200 monitor and Crysis Warhead Benchmark is roughly the same. Its not much more than a single. I was expecting a bigger increase in frame rates. Latest ATI 9.12 drivers. Am I doing something wrong?

something is wrong, id suggest rebooting and then check crossfire is enabled in ccc, did you remember to install the bridge between the two cards?

Thanks for reply, Yes to both. Bridge connected and x-fire enabled in ccc. I have a XFX 5770 and a Saphire. Oc said it was fine that way.

Have you tried the new card on it's own?

Just tried the new card with Unique Heaven , Lower frame rates so there is improvement with x fire on unique heaven and my Future Mark score is 16930.

Just games do not seem much better.
