crossfire 5870's keep or move on?

basically as the title states, to cut a long story short I game @ 1080p. BF3 is grinding my gears, If I dont have settings on medium I ctd or bsod. All other games are fine. Running 1 sapphire and 1 xfx 5870 1gb in crossfire.

Should I sell and move on to something else? if so what?

I'm thinking if I flog them now I'll pick up something new end of the month.

Something is defintely wrong. Even at ultra on a single 5870 you shouldn't get any crashing. Check if any of your components are overheating. Is crossfire properly set up? Have you tried one card on it's own? Try removing your graphics drivers and reinstalling them from scratch. Reinstall windows if you have to.

Otherwise sell them off and wait for the HD7970 cards.
