Sweet baby Jesus! :D

Whats it like when gaming, microstutter wise?

I had crossfire 7950's before the framepacing update and felt it was quite noticeable.

Have you noticed any stuttering?

Cool beans ! I have a WF7950 and an MSI TF7950 on order to make a xFire setup, due tomorrow. Am an eyefinity user, hopefully sorted in the near future.

Your in for a treat mate I have the same setup in eyefinity, any game i throw at it is smooth with all the settings cranked up, i run my cards at 1050/1375 evn though they handle 1150/1600 their just no need now'i have 2 of them, i limit the frames to 55 in radeon pro thr cards barely have to work so thry stay cooler and quiet which is nice.

No stutter here in eyefinity, radeon pro can make it smooth, flip que size set to 1 and limit the frames to something you can keep up to no need for vsync.

Cheers - looking forward to it. Sounds like RadeonPro is the way to go - currently use afterburner to get the WF to 1100/6000, though a little noisy and hot for my liking.

In my setup I have the msi twin frozr as the top card as it keeps cooler for less noise than the wf3 card, if i don't use frame limiter max temps will be 71c for the msi card and 58c for the wf3, but frame limited they run 65c/55c after a good 3 hours on bf3.

I found in single card setup 1100/1600 was a big improvement over the stock 7950 but in crossfire 1050/1375 is perfect going further with the mem seems to make it less smooth and the difference between 1050 and 1100 is barely anything, tends to be the max oc your card can do in single config usually it needs to be a little lower in crossfire for stability.

not a hint of stutter for me. And getting a 2nd 7950 was the best piece of PC purchasing I've ever done :)

Took the words right out of my mouth. I have 290X matching performance at stock settings, no stutter for me and my fave game, FarCry 3 runs smooth as butter with Radeon Pro at almost 100% scaling. My next graphics update will be 20nm. :D

It's only my opinion of course, but I reckon Crossfired 7950s will be good for 2+ years. I'm in no rush now for new GPUs, if only CPU's could improve at a faster rate.

well I've had my 6990 for about 2years and it's performs great in new release games. so yeah Crossfired 7950s will be good for 2+ years. it just depends if you upgrade your gaming res.

for me 1080p is enough.
