Hi guys

Very few posts on here about this and nothing recent . Situations is i have two monitors and want to run the first as gaming display gaining the benefits of crossfired 4890s and the second monitor running applications simultaneously (i.e. msn, web, gpuz, etc.) Is this possible or do u still have to disable the second monitor when running a game?

Is the 4870X2 any different from normal crossfire in this regard?

TIA

I've got a 4870x2 and have had no problems running my 24" monitor for games with my 22" running Rivatuner, CPU-Z, CoreTemp, Ventrilo, etc etc.

Couldn't comment on the functionality of 2 x 4890s though, so probably not that much help to you. :(

i believe this issue was sorted out ages ago. sadly cant test for you of confirm 100% as not runnin crossfire presently. i imagen if you do have any issues it will be down to drivers and the 4890 being fairly new but ati generally solves these issues within a month or two
