hey guys i got a r9 290 crossfire setup when i enable vsync in bf4 its choppy but without vsync is smooth but i dont like the tearing anyone know of a fix, is it drivers or my hardware?
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. I had the same problem. Turning Frame Pacing off sorted it for me. Smooth as silk now!

The 290 has hardware frame pacing, so surely the CCC option isn't going to do anything?
Vsync off in the game and set in RP may fix it.

290 uses a combination of hardware and software frame pacing.
ok the game runs better when i disable crossfire anyone else seeing this?

yup a no go i get better performance on 1 card tried both cards individually so must be a driver issue, i hope amd sort crossfire out for these new cards![]()
