crossfire battlefield 4 vsync stutter help!

I imagine it'll be a driver issue. Drivers are crap for AMD at the moment.

On another note: How are you cards atm. Do they have coil whine? and are they loud?

I had a 290x on release but it had the worst coil whine and was so so loud! Returned it and got a 780ti instead.

no coil whine here cards are nice got them under water so no noise from cooler either, i had a gtx 780 ti that i returned due to memory issues it would artifact thats why i went to amd for the first time, i have always been a nvidia user but was intrigued with what mantle has to offer, i am going to alternate between nvidia and amd yearly just to see what both teams bring to the table :D

Theres a bug with frame pacing and vsync. AMD are aware but its an issue which Dice need to fix. The solution is to use frame pacing without vsync = smooth. If you want to use vsync just disable frame pacing = smooth. Up to you which way you go. Both play fine and i can't tell the difference between either setting. I play with vsync off and frame pacing on as i don't get any tearing with vsync off.

The 290 has hardware frame pacing, so surely the CCC option isn't going to do anything?

Vsync off in the game and set in RP may fix it.

I use v-sync via raden pro with frame rate locked to 59fps and flip size down to 1. No stuttering but I do get high gpu usage even with v-sync on.

everyone on forums with r9 290 crossfire setups have been experiencing it so not to sure about it being a PEBKAC,
my benchmarks seem to be perfectly fine
3dmark
3dmark 11
heaven
so that clears up it not being hardware
