"Crossfire bridge not connected correctly..."

Umm. All I did was format my PC from Crossfire working fine, and now it reports that the bridge is working incorrectly and essentially, I cannot run XF.

Any ideas, i'm stumped having tried reseating both cards, the bridge twice (between both bridge connectors) etc?
 
I've got 2 spare bridges in addition to one being used previously.

Tried all combinations, 2 x 2, 1 x 1, and it still won't recognise XF, yet Device Manager displays both cards.

In CCC it reported that the secondary card wasn't enabled.

Simply 15mins later, both are functioning fine .. and XF is enabled. Very weird. Very Windows.
