Hey All,

Building a new rig this afternoon for my bro and amongst other things we got him a second 5850.

Looking through his original HIS 5850 box we could not find a xfire bridge, and now looking through the Saffire one that has just arrived there isnt one either?

Do I need one? I see the mobo has included one for SLI, please help :D

Cheers.

Yes you need one.

No you can't use the SLI connector.

They should come in the box with the graphics card (if it's a retail version).

Motherboards don't come supplied with Crossfire bridges.

You can still install both graphics cards, they just won't run in Crossfire, and then fit the bridge when you get one.
