Crossfire card 100% use in Office

Weird one this, since upgrading to the latest beta drivers (at least I've never noticed it before) and running in Xfire, when I start up MS Office 2013 the primary card bumps up to full speed and 100% for a second then drops back down to 500mhz.

Second/slave card goes from 0% to 100% and full clocks and stays there!

Any thoughts on how to fix?

@ work. So i can't be 100% but in cat there is an option to use xfire in everything should be on the enable xfire page.

I don't have that on my Crossfire page in CCC.

Still happens on the official 13.12 drivers

Start up Outlook 2013 and card 2 goes to 100% usage at full speed.

Anyone got any bright ideas - maybe creating a profile in CCC to disable xfire when launching? (bit of a naff fix though!!)

Office 2013 now uses graphics acceleration - that's why your usage and clocks are going up. There's an option to disable graphics acceleration.

Interesting test - load up MSI afterburner and put the onscreen display on and launch Excel.
