Gents,

Looking through the products on OC i could only fined one crossfire connector for my water blocks..

Phobya Variabler SLI/Crossfire Connector 2 Slot - Gold

Is this the only thing from OC i could use to connect my two Watercool Heatkiller GPU-X³ 79X0 Ni-Bl, but being gold this may be an issue?

any advice?

When you say gold may be an issue, are you concerned about the material of the connector or the colour scheme of your rig? It is slightly ambiguous.

Heatkiller make a bridge that is compatible with their blocks (Heatkiller gpu-x dual/tri/quad link). It is often referred to as an SLI bridge by retailers but it will work fine for crossfire too as it connects to the waterblocks and not the cards. They come in a variety of slot widths so make sure you buy the right one if you are going to.

OCUK don't sell it but a google around should turn them up, the manufacturer also sells them direct on their website.

I use one myself and it looks pretty good and works well.

Gold doesn't react with anything though does it? Thought it was the most stable metal which is why it doesn't tarnish.

Its aluminium and copper you should worry about but most wc components now are copper or nickle plated copper

You will be fine.

As others have said - the outside will just be gold plated / painted, the internals will not be gold and are most likely brass. Either way gold shouldn't react badly with other metals anyway to my knowledge.
