Crossfire Connectors

Does anyone still use those metal pipe crossfire connectors? I don't seem to have seen many pictures of them recently.

Do they work OK or am i better off going with short bits of tube?

Also what is the current think on series vs parallel?

i still use the metal slider pipes, they work well and have never had any problems,
Have just added a new pic in case gallery
