Crossfire / Dual DVI problem

Hi all,

Wonder if you can shed some light on this one for me.

Currently running a pair of 7970's in crossfire, with a Hazro 27" monitor and now a Hazro 30" monitor, both monitors only accept DVI-D inputs. Each card only has one DVI-D output, plus a display port, HDMI, etc etc.

If I enable crossfire, then only one monitor functions - ie the outputs on the second card are turned off. If I disable crossfire then I am of course able to use both monitors - I really dont want to the hassle of having to enable / disable crossfire every time I enter or exit a game.

Any suggestions for ways around this?

Cheers

Both outputs must come from the first card in cf, you'll probably need an active displayport to dual link dvi cable.

Though an hdmi to dual link cable may work at that res due to the new hdmi spec on these cards (1.4a iirc).

I suspected it might be as simple as that, I'll see if I can pick up a cable / adaptor.

Cheers the quick reply.
