Crossfire Explained

Can someone explain crossfire ready please, my understanding is that if you have a crossfire MB, then you cant run nvidia GC in SLI, only ATI, is that true? if so are there any AM3 MB which you can run nvidia GC in SLI?

Crossfire ready motherboards can only run multiple ATI gpu's if you want a SLI AM3 board have a look for the 980a chipset, like this one from ASUS.
