CrossFire happiness

After all the doom and gloom about CrossFireX not being easy to set up and what not I was a bit worried about doing an AMD dual card set up after some of the comments heard here.

Anyway I only had to put the cards in their slots, I installed the 11.4 WHQL Catalysts drivers, the latest CAP Profiles and I am now enjoying of close to 100% usage in both cards and superb framerates.

in what games etc ?

I have played BC2, Metro 2033 and Starcraft 2 to date.

I have also run without issues Heaven 2.1 and 2.5 benchmarks.

I am yet to try it with Supreme Commander and Crysis, the next games in my list!

Not fantastically happy with my 5870 crossfire atm. Brink doesn't support it, and in OpFlash Dragon Rising, I can't select any resolution above 1280x1024 if crossfire is enabled.
Works well in other games though .

I don't play new games anyway as they cost a fortune to buy for then to find them for a tenner a month down the line.

Brink has got a few problems I read in Rage3D and Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising is a fairly new game as well.

yes, 95 to 99% usage on both cards. Super smooth as well.
