Crossfire in windows 2000 - possible?

As windows 2k is the best for 3dmark01se do the catalyst drivers correctly implement crossfire (assume all correct hardware) or does it have to be windows xp? Not been able to find any info.
 
i can only assume that it will work as the same drivers are used for both 2000/xp. other than that i have no idea.... :p

anyways, the highest score on 01 was achieved with a single card.... :D
