Crossfire, is it worth it?

You will notice the difference if you have a large widescreen montior as you will be able to game at their resolutions.
 
You won't notice any difference in 2D applications GUI at all, just 3D Opengl/Direct X. Apparently to make it worthwhile you need really high res ie 1900 vertical...and I guess a really fast CPU.

Totally pointless imo unless you intend to upgrade to a 24" TFT fairly soon. I have a X1900XT on 20.1" WS and it runs everything I throw at it smoothly (at stock speeds). No point in having to spend 300 quid or so extra for very little benefit when I'm sure you could spend that on something more useful, like say....penny sweets :D .
