Hi I am using 2 x ASus 5870s in crossfire and certain games keep crashing particular 2 been testing are Dirt 2 and far cry 2 I have tried using catalyst drivers 10.4 10.6 and even 10.7

Particular issue with Dirt 2 crashes during benchmarks or when try changing settings like disabling vertical sync

Has anyone else had issues this year with crossfire

Thanks

They seem fine i have keep having a play round with the asus smartdoctor to keep the heat down incase its that then i thought it could be smartdoctor causing conflict we catalyst

What tends to happen is the screen freezes and the fan on the 2nd card revs up max so really loud and now and then goes to bluescreen

I have tried different versions of catalyst i now trying 10.3 and still having issues

I also get were my sound messes up and when boots after a crash does a thud kind of noise just before windows 7 welcome screen.

have you OC'd the cards? might be worth trying with everything at stock speeds (inc cpu) also is the PSU a quality make?

i got the cards at standard the psu is a tagan, if i set my cpu back to default it just crashes my pc think thats cause i set it up before installing windows.

I have just noticed that in catalyst it shows my temp as 0 on 2nd card before and after intense testing as i testing other games and benchmarks as well which run fine

Yet it shows temps for both cards in asus smartdoctor

catalyst only shows 40c and above for 2nd card, so 39c would read 0c

I realised thats not an issue, its def summot to do we Dirt 2 as so far tried

Dirt 2 crashes during benchmark or when vsync disabled Farcry 2 on intense action scene has similar crash to dirt 2 were screen freezes fan on 2nd card goes nuts and loud and sometimes screen goes blank into saying cant find HDMi as this is what i use it through

I also tried stalker 3, resident evil 5 3dmark vantage and Heaven benchmark 2.1 and they all run perfect.
