Ditched the 3870X2 and the option of 3850's in favour of a 8800GTS 512mb. Can not be bothered with the constant freezing of a) XP and be the installation of Vista.

Seems they dont play nicely on my DFI X48 mobo, might give the ATI 4870 a chance when it comes out, but until then my computers going back to nvidia

Haha, I kicked my dual 3870s a few weeks ago for the same card you've just bought. Multi-GPU is all well and good until you realise that the drivers and software suck.
