Crossfire Not Working When I Install The Driver?

I recently tried crossfiring my 4850's both are the exact same card.

I connected them to the Mobo put the birdges on etc. Turned the system on, installed the drivers, restarted the system

Then bang the driver fails and im using onboard graphics...

I hear this is quite a popular problem yet I havent found any soloutions to it atm

Any ideas?

Im using the latest drivers from amd game site

Do you uninstall all your previous catalyst drivers turn the system off then insert the graphics card into the mobo put the birdges on (I put 2 bridges on or do you only need to put 1 on?) and then turn the system on and simply install the driver?

Because thats what I did it all seemd to be going well until I restarted the system (as you have to once you have isntalled the drivers). It laoded up and everything then you get to the vista login screen and the screen goes black for a second then it goes back to onboard graphics. I loaded it up and simply the driver just wasnt working very strange

I got this through either the following;

• No SP1 in Vista
• Didn't restart again (for some reason everytime I install drivers for my 4850s I need to restart twice after install for them to work fine, I guess it's down to the uninstaller needing 1 restart to fully remove )
