crossfire or new card?

I've currently got an MSI 6950 twin Frozr 3. Flashed to be a 6970.
Am I better off getting another one second hand and going crossfire or would I be better off just buying a newer generation graphics card?
The only games I'm playing at the minute are BF4 and Splinter Cell.

If you can get a cheap 6950, all depends on the psu though.

I can get another 6950 for about £100 on ebay. My PSU is an Enermax 650w (I think)

I wouldn't do that. At the age of the card, the cons outweigh the pro's.

You can pick up a decent 7950 for not much more than that £100 in truth. Add a few squid more and that would be a decent upgrade.

Yeah, if you had a 7950 or above is say crore but below that get a new card.
