Crossfire + PCI card.

Quick question please chaps,

If I were to crossfire 2 5870's on an Asus P6T Deluxe motherboard would a PCI soundcard (like the Asus Xonar Essence ST) fit in between the 2 PCI express slots.

I've looked at the pictures of the motherboard but can't see if it will fit in between the GFX cards.

The first PCI slot will be obscured, the second should be fine, but it'll be cosy in there. Maybe an Essence STX in the 1x PCIe slot at the top of the board instead?

Thanks mate, I really wanted the ST as it has a headphone amp. But the STX looks good.

I've just read the user reviews of the stx and it does have an amp? can anybody confirm?.

It has a headphone amp, stupid man should learn to read specs properly.
