Crossfire problem

I have crossfire enabled. And set to show the symbol when it is enabled.
I do valley benchmark extreme HD 1920x1200 and get 95 avg fps.
Also do the hitman absolution bench mark and get 75 avg fps

But when i actually go to play hitman The symbol doesnt show and im running at around 40 fps? any ideas?

Exclusive fullscreen wasnt enabled. Solved.

Yep crossfire only works in full screen mode.
