I am thinking about buying another 4870X2.

My current is a HIS card, my question is do I have to buy another HIS card or will another branded card e.g. SAPPHIRE, work just as well?

Any card will do but it will run at the slowest cards speed, I'd get Identical cards myself, O wait I have
Not big Buck ones though just 1950's, Runs Mint though

For ease of use I would have to say Go for One card & the Best card money can buy but I like a challenge & took on my kit 2nd hand as a best for the money I had at the time deal.
If you are a decent tweaker then xfire can work well but if not I'd advice going with just One card.
