crossfire question

Unfortunately, you can't crossfire a 5770 with a 6870 - you need the cards to be in the same family. The 5770 will only crossfire with 5750s or other 5770s.
May I ask what motherboard you are running?

Personally - I would go with the formula. Great board and plenty of features. Unless you feel you definitely will make use of the features offered by the extreme.
Also, I would suggest going with two 6950s instead of three 6870s. The 6970 is a faster card, and has a very good chance of unlocking to a full 6970.
