Crossfire question?

I have a Toxic 6950 with the shaders unlocked so in effect I'm running a 6970 card. However as they are no longer available if I wanted to go CF what options are available? Would I need another 6950 that unlocks, or could I get a 6970 card or is neither option valid?

You can CrossFire with a HD 6970, an unlocked HD 6950, a locked HD 6950 or even a HD 6990.

Yes, any card from within the same series. The series being 69 in this case. Always an amusing number haha!
