crossfire question

Can any one give me some info on crossfire .

I have 7950hd card. Got is broken , fixed and now using it in my new pc tower.
I have 5600x with b550 aorus elite.

Also I have two r9 270x identical cards.
(Fixed) working.
I putt One 270x in my rig linked with crossfire And it didn't change a thing.

Same benchmark Results, same fps on conan exiles.
It's like crossfire Doing nothing.
Yet while benchmarking Both GPUs were 100% loaded and heating my room nicely .

So what's up with that. ?

I see.
It kinda makes sence.
It looked like both gpus were working, but no performance gain. so its down to a games.
