I have 2 7970 in crossfire.

I have heard that the second card powers down when not in use.

The problem I have is when I load windows the second card is at 925mhz, I see in the bios that this is the boot flag which causes this, only when I load a game the second card will drop to 300mhz but still not turn off.

How do I get the bottom card to turn off and go into power save mode.
