Crossfire Stutter in Shadow of Mordor

Im getting a little crossfire stutter in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, ive just tried it today for the first time, its a great looking game.

I've got v-sync on capping hte FPS to 60 so its not like theres any big jumps in FPS causing it, and ive got UPLS disabled which used to cause stutter in some other games. No idea whats causing it.

Luckily i can still play on full ultra on a single card, but during big fights the FPS does drop a bit, i wouldnt prefer to get it running back on 2 cards. Any ideas?

On ultra you'll probably be well over your 3GB frame buffer, what is afterburner showing?

Which drivers are you using BluD?

Is there any particular level or sequence in which the stuttering occurs?

Im using 14.12 the latest ones i believe, i'll go and check the vram ingame now, i didnt even think of that because it wasnt stuttering with 1 card.

The stuttering happens most of the time when i move my camera around or basically do anything quickly.

Mine is a lagfest on ultra because my RAM usage is well over 3GB.

You got it Dave, just checked its eating the mem up in seconds very memory hungry game, its actually using over 9gig ram also.

Guess ill have to knock down the settings a bit.

Its looking like its gonna be a good one, very fun so far, and ive only played an hour or so.

Yeah non of my other games use anything close, WoW maxed out only uses 6 gig.

Running smooth as butter now, just had to turn down 2 settings from ultra to high to get the mem off the cap down to about 2.8 gig.

Tis a shame, i removed vsync and saw im getting 90+ fps with crossfire up, so the cards easily have the grunt, theyre just lacking the mem, didnt think i would be hitting the cap on only 1440p.

Its making them 290x 8gig cards look very appealing to me now, shame i have no money to fund them.

Time to sell my other kidney, any takers?

Considering it uses so much VRAM I didn't think the game looked that amazing, turning it down from ultra didn't make much visual difference but performance is loads better.

Only played a couple of hours so far.

How much use has the Kidney had, i could do with a spare?

Yes Shadow of Modor uses so many vram, I can use max for almost everything but texture has to be kept high, not ultra. If I use ultra it shutter so bad.
