Crossfire System Dual Monitor Help

Hey all,

I have my Crossfire system up and running and its the bees knees. After spending most of the day loading all my software back on I am at the stage of wanting to add another monitor.

I tried adding it to the DVI port on the same card as the Master DVI port and it seemed to see the monitor. i then must have got very confused cos my Main monitor ended up not displaying correctly blah de blah and I ended up having to take both monitors of off the card and then reboot.

Has any one done it? And therefore able to let me know what to do? Which ports to plug the 2nd monitor into and on what card.

Here's a rather dodgy translation and they say to plug the primary monitor into the crossfire connecting dongle and the secondary monitor into the secondary card

I still cant make head not tail of it. You would have thought ATI or Saphire would have some help topics.

I think I may have sussed it. Ont the ATI site the the crossfire user guide there is a line that states when crossfire is active only the primary monitor will work.

Adiitional monitors will be re-enabled when crossfire is disabled.

I am pretty sure I was setting them up with it enabled. I'll give it a try.
