Hi all,

I'm trying to build a new system that will last for the next couple of years (I hope). It's mainly for gaming but I do a lot of Photoshop work to. I've been trying to come up witht he best bits but it's getting a bit of a minefield.

I want to base it on a Conroe CPU and Crossfire setup along with a 24" monitor and 2Gb of Ram. I have about £1500-£2000 to spend. Anyone fancy speccing a few ideas up.

oh and i'd like it to be quiet, if thats possible :P

Will that power supply definately power a crossfire setup? I ask because I have basically the same setup with one X1900 and might fancy another in the future.

Thanks for the replies,

Been away from the computer for a bit, hence the lateness.

I'm wondering on what peoples thoughts are on the Dell 24" compared to that new BenQ one stocked here.

I currently have a 17" sharp tft and it received great reviews but has rubbish grey-black tones in photoshop. Is this a common thing with all tft's or just on cheaper ones.

Although its for hi-res gaming, graphics work and good colour reproduction is important too, are CRT's still top dog for this?
