hi there, just got myself another 5830 for xfire, seeing as it was cheap i thought i would give it ago but was just wondering what the normal temps for crossfire are because the one 5830 used to sit at about 70C max but now they both reach up to about 84-86C each and what im more worried about is my sound card sitting in the middle as that stops some airflow and that gets veryhot to the touch and i dont know what it can take?

I've had a soundcard between two very hot GTX 460's for six months with no problems. Those temperatures don't sound ridiculous, but you may find an Antec Spotcool blowing down the length of the cards helps. A side intake fan on your case also tends to be a good thing (if your case will take one).
