CrossFire without Master Card

I cant find it now, but im sure someone here has it running, and the performance difference is next to nothing, going by this article here , which you probably saw in the thread i did link to. :D

x1950 Crossfire done the master card way only gets about 335 points more than that in 06, so games should be about the same, couple of frames diff probably. :)

from what that site said it seems that its pointless unless you want to run 16x AF etc......................................

brb nicking the 1900 from mums PC.

I assume this still requires a crossfire compatible motherboard?
It would be good if it didn't, but I'm not holding my breath.
If it wasn't crossfire compatible, it would only have 1 PCI-E slot :D

Quick side question:

If you can get modded drivers to do SLi on a Crossfire board, can you get drivers to do Crossfire on an SLi board, like the nForce chipsets?
