crossfire, xtx at xt speeds

just been reading a bit about crossfire set ups cos id love to have one but now im a bit , is it true that if you have a crossfire system with a x1900xtx as the second card then it will be limited to 1900xt speeds as all master cards are set at xt speeds???

No

there's a few review sites which will state otherwise but each card runs at its individual clock speeds.

In other words, clock you Master card a touch...

As said above, it doesn't downclock, both cards run at their own speeds, so you have an x1900 XT, and an x1900 XTX in Crossfire.
