It's my understanding that you do get increased resolution (3 x 1280x1024 monitors = 3840x1024) so something like crossfire or an 8800gtx would be a very good idea!

Incidentally - kingo15 your motherboard will work fine with an 8800gtx! Infact, you might have problems with needing a better PSU with two x1950's. The 8800 would be a far better choice!

crossfire only works with one monitor. if you want to use dual monitors you have to disable crossfire for it to work unless you use that matrox thing, yes.

Oh yes! That's probably right james.miller!

GTX it'll have to be at 1920x1200 and up!

What about having two x1950pro (256) to feed 1600x1024 for the likes of ArmA and Comapny of Heroes at high settings? Same question - got one, should i get another. Am happy to wait for a DX10 complaint card seeing as i can get another his card for £109+vat...

I wouldn't bother wasting money on old tech now, Nvidias 8600's are supposed to be coming out the 17th for around the £100-£150 mark, so be pointless now buying another pro, besides 1x 8800 GTS 320mb totally destroys 2x x1950pro's in Crossfire, so id either keep the 1x pro you have until you upgrade to a Dx10 card, or try to sell the one you have and get an 8 series now, no sense at all in getting another pro for Crossfire. :)
