i am just wondering about crossfire as my next motherboard will have it.my last one was an sli board.my question is do you still have to have the same 2 gpus to crossfire or is there a bit more of a mix and match these days.say one more powerfull than the other sort of thing.

Yeah can mix and match now, think its only the 3800 series and up though.
