Crossfireing advice

It doesnt have to be the same make, clock speed or memory.
The 1gb version will only use 512mb in line with the 512mb one, so the performance will be affected by that.
 
Like Sash says you can use any 4850.

That said, if it were me i'd still aim for a 1gb card - beyond that pretty much get any model you like.

Yeah go for another 1gb, as you would lose half the memory of your 1gb card, as it only gives you the lowest cards amount, so you would only have 512mb, where as with another 1gb, you would still have 1gb. :)
 
Seems like more games are taken memory into consideration. GRID likes as much memory as possible.
