CrossfireX or SLI?

Oh is that so

As cleeecooo said, why do you think it's more polished when, if you have not used X-fire how can you claim this unless you have used X-fire in the past?

I have used both Sli and X-fire and never had any reason to say that ones better than the other apart from that Amd are quicker to get profiles out.

Rroff, from reading your general posts, you have stated on numerous occasions that you prefer Nvidia cards.

Iirc, you have said that you need physx for work/programming etc and that Nvidia is your general preference as you personally have had a better experience with the hardware.

Have you had any recent X-fire systems that you have used to play a good few titles over time that you used as a general comparison with Sli to base your opinion?

What ones if you have?

If you haven't used X-fire in one of your setups, then how can you justify that Sli is a better setup, by saying that Sli is the more rounded/polished of the 2?

I use sli 470's, and they just work plain and simple, a mate has xfire 5850's, they just dont work very well plain and simple, ati drivers seem to be very shoddy. But their dual card setups do run a bit cooler, quieter, and use a bit less power. But, the first two points in my situation arent even a concern tbh. I have a very good case with great airflow, this helps keep the heat/noise low, as for power consumption, hardly a thing i worry about as im already running a highly clocked cpu, and during the course of a year, its not as if it's gonna break me financially.
